La Necchi, Pavia: more than 50% of demolition and asbestos removal work completed

In the 11 hectares of the Necchi area, work is proceeding apace, particularly in the southern area, where more than half of the industrial structures present have been demolished and reclaimed.

The demolition and reclamation will generate more than 100,000 cubic metres of materials that, thanks to the circular economy process envisioned on site, can be recovered and reused to produce CE-marked building materials, thus enabling the potential reuse on site of 75,000 cubic metres of material.
