Pavia, La Necchi: RAINEWS tells the future of the Necchi area

TGRAI highlighted the €200 million strategic project for the urban regeneration of the 112,000 sqm Necchi area, located between the Naviglio Pavese canal and Pavia Rail Yard.

🎤 In the report, the Mayor of Pavia, Michele Lissia, emphasized the public value of the project, while Federica Provaroni for Supernova pointed out how the development will reconnect the area to the city, overcoming a long-standing urban void.

🚉 A key element is the future FS Pavia Nord railway station, to be built next to the Necchi area, on the S13 line to Milan.

🏗️ Construction is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027.
